You will be supported by our Serious Incident Adviser. They have specialist training to support you, or to help you find the most appropriate support. They can help you to understand your feelings and begin to process your experiences. They can support you with practical things like accessing health care, your reporting options and your study options.

The university also offers a counselling service. Counselling is available to all university students and staff for free and provides the opportunity to meet with a professionally trained person to talk about and work through your personal problems.
