You can continue discussing your report with us without revealing who you are. The Report + Support platform allows you to opt into two-way messaging while keeping your identity completely private.
What is anonymous two-way messaging?
It’s a secure way to chat with an adviser after you’ve submitted your report. It allows you to ask questions, ask for advice, or share more details whenever you feel ready to do so.
How do I use it?
When you submit your report, just choose the option to opt in. The system will generate a unique 16-character code. You can then log into the messaging system using this code to send and receive direct messages with your adviser.
Will I have to provide any personal information?
Not at all. You don't need to give us your name or contact details. It is entirely up to you if you want to share any identifying information later.
Please note: If you share specific details about the incident itself, such as names or addresses, this could potentially identify you, so please only share what you feel comfortable with.
Why choose anonymous messaging?
There are many reasons people prefer to stay anonymous when reporting unacceptable behaviour. This service allows you to:
- Access support and guidance safely.
- Ask questions and get advice at your own pace.
- Share extra information only when you feel ready.
- Help us better understand what happened so we can respond appropriately, while still protecting your privacy.
How soon will I get a reply?
We aim to get back to you within three working days.
Please note: This is not an emergency service
It is only monitored Monday to Friday during regular working hours. If you are worried about your safety or the safety of someone else, please call the emergency services immediately on 999.
