We will support you to have this conversation with your line manager and the HR team, this might look like supporting you through our Sickness Absence Policy. - Will there be repercussions if I report?
If you choose to make a report to the university or to the police, the person(s) that you name will be spoken to. We can’t predict what their reaction will be, but we will work with the police and other safeguarding partners to try and keep you as safe as possible. - What will happen to my information?
Your information will be stored securely on our Report + Support system and on our internal university database. This information can only be accessed by a small group of dedicated staff. You can find out more about our university privacy policy here. - How long does it take to receive a response to my report?
You will receive an initial response to your report within 3 working days. - Can I report incidents that occurred off-campus?
Yes. We can support you with incidents that have taken place anywhere and at any time, including things that may have happened a long time ago. - Will I be notified about any actions taken as a result of my report?
If you report through Report + Support using your contact details, you will receive information about any complaints that you make.
If you report anonymously, we won’t be able to update you about any work that we do directly.
